Ingredients
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1/2 cup multigrain flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar/jaggery powder
- 2 tablespoon chocolate powder
- 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
- 1 tablespoon oil or melted butter for greasing the pan
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour for dusting pan
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 tablespoon coffees if required
Preparation
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. ( wheat flour, multigrain flour, cocoa/chocolate powder, baking soda, baking powder).
- Add milk, oil, vanilla essence, brown sugar and coffee and mix well.
- Mix them well till the sugar/jaggery dissolves. There should be no lumps.
- Pour the cake batter in the greased and dusted pan. Bake it for 35-40 minutes in a preheated oven @ 180 C.
- Cut into pieces and serve with some dusted sugar powder or sprinkles.
- Nutella or Chocolate spread can be used on top of cake for added flavors.
